What You Can Buy Wholesale

Posted by Ann on December 17, 2010

There’s a movement afoot to live as a freegan — someone who doesn’t pay for the things in their home, but rather acquires them for free from curbsides, dumpsters, and other sources. While that may be extreme, there are many more people out there who are looking for every possible way to cut their cost of living. Shopping wholesale instead of paying retail prices is one way to accomplish this.

A wide variety of things are available through wholesale shopping clubs and stores like DealYard . With a little bit of research it’s possible to get almost anything at wholesale prices, if one knows where to look.

Food and household goods can be had some warehouse clubs. They usually require a membership and may not be true wholesale prices, but their convenience is undeniable and most prices are close enough to wholesale to make it worth while.

Housing supplies are usually easier to find wholesale. Skip the big box store and find the places that carpenters, electricians, plumbers and the like shop. Appliances, building materials, and tools can be had cheaply at these places.

Other things are available wholesale as well, to those who are diligent in their research. Sporting goods, kitchen equipment, clothing, books, even music and electronics like iPod accessories.
