The Electric Renault-Nissan Company Comes to Singapore
Singapore is becoming recognized world wide as a city doing its part for the environment. Through requirements placed on businesses such as the best Singapore hotels, of utilizing solar panels and water reducing mechanisms to providing government rebates to those purchasing electric scooters and cars. An important development project has just been introduced to the city, a project that involves the Renault-Nissan car company and the Energy Market Authority. The Economic Development Board and the Transit Authority are also part of the team. This group of large companies is setting out to promote the production and the distribution of electric cars throughout Singapore. This island is the perfect target group, and this technology is relevant as the small island is becoming more populated each day. The environment is urban, the electric grid and the infrastructure is just waiting and ready.
The car company has been setting up the structure for the conversion to electric powered automobiles in other countries as well, and Singapore is the new kid on the block, the latest country to be added to the list. Projects of the similar kind have been launched and have become successful in Monaco, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland and in many of the states in America. Government organizations for the different countries have offered their full support for this new, and growing, technology. The goal is the continued expansion of the project, getting as many electric powered cars and trucks on the roads of Singapore as soon as possible. As every second does count in the concerted effort to protect and to repair the environment. Other transit systems of Singapore are also doing a part, in increasing bus and train lines, and expanding the hours of those currently in operation. It is a brand new world, that has its sights setting on fixing this same old world. It just gets better and more hopeful every moment.
