Comptroller commits $1B to emerging managers of venture funds

The state Comptroller’s Office is increasing private equity commitments to “emerging” managers of venture funds to $1 billion, more than doubling the amount of capital available to those relative newcomers who tap into the New York State Common Retirement Fund.
